This goal is achieved by using students\u2019 voices documented in semi-structured interviews. Five students attending general education settings in Macao Special Administrative Region (Macao SAR) participated in the study. The research is framed by the social model of disability. A phenomenological approach was adopted to examine the lived experiences of students and their views about inclusion, learning, and social interactions, allowing their voices to take primacy in the research. The ultimate aim was to shed light on schools\u2019 effectiveness in supporting students\u2019 needs, visibility, and agency.
