“I am a researcher of humanities with a background in English literature (tragic drama) and a researcher of social sciences (tourism and business management) interested in cross-disciplinary studies. My work has been focusing on the behavior and motivation of people in different organisational settings. My current projects include studying perception and motivation of organizations in Macau; neural responses of recipients towards tourism related advertisements; and theory of planned behavior in government studies.”<\/em><\/p>\r\n

Neuromarketing Application Framework for Tourism and Entertainment Industries in Macau<\/span><\/h4>\r\n

Summary:<\/b><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Funded by Macau Foundation in 2018\/2019 to develop model for application, further neuroscience equipment funded by DSES in 2019\/2020. Continuation of the project include application of equipment to analyze subjects\u2019 focus and attention level, perception, and emotion towards tourism advertisements to identify effectiveness of promotional videos and factors affecting successful advertisements.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Curricula innovation in the delivery of physical education under limitation of infrastructure, resources, and environment<\/span><\/h4>\r\n

Summary:<\/b><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Physical education has always face a challenge due to limited infrastructure in Macau. Especially during the COVID-19 lockdown, and the social distancing post-lockdown, creative strategies have to be developed for the continuation of physical education in schools. This research attempts to identify the goals and objectives of physical education in schools in Macau, analyse the challenges facing achieving these goals, and explore strategies to overcome limitations from resources, infrastructure, and situation like the pandemic in teaching methodology.<\/span><\/p>\r\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"

This research explored innovation\u00a0of traditional SMEs that do not actively invest in innovation. Elements of open innovation have been identified in these firms in their effort to build social capital which they perceive as pertinent to their businesses. The result of the research shows that instead of using social capital as means for innovation, the unintentional practice of open innovation has contributed to the development of social capital, which further opens potential\u00a0for globalization.
